摘要: A right-handed, intelligent man, 32 years of age, was blind in the right eye since infancy. In a state depression he attempted suicide by cutting side his throat. It necessary to compress neck manually before sutures were inserted. Following this had symptoms increased intracranial pressure, and focal signs which consisted temporal field defect left temporary visual agnosia cortical colour-blindness combined with colour agnosia. The brain damage probably due thrombosis venous system occipital lobe. have been studied during restitutional phase their character analysed described.
