摘要: Peptic ulcer disease (PUD) is thought to result from an imbalance between aggressive (excessive) [especially gastric acid and pepsin] protective (diminished) factors (gastric mucus bicarbonate, prostaglandins others) in the stomach. Recent attention has focused on role of Helicobacter pylori as a cause chronic active gastritis pathogenic factor PUD. Antiulcer medications with proven efficacy treatment acute PUD include histamine2 (H2-receptor antagonists, H+/K+-ATPase (proton pump) inhibitors, antacids, sucralfate prostaglandin analogues. The advent proton pump inhibitors particular resulted effective therapy for ulcers that previously would have been considered refractory.
