摘要: The objective of this experimental investigation was to obtain information on the reaction kinetics for hydrogen reduction copper from sulfate solutions in a continuous, countercurrent tubular reactor. Aqueous solution introduced at top reactor while sparged into bottom. Separations bottom (liquid-solid) and overflow (gas-liquid) products were accomplished individual high pressure separators. rate increases with temperature up about 180 220 °C depending residence time thereafter levels off or decreases slightly. Feed having pH greater than 1.8 yielded product which contaminated cuprus oxide. Over range study, operating pressure, consequently solubility aqueous reactant demonstrated negligible effect depletions. Likewise, very little change depletions observed beyond times 10 minutes. Acid addition feed retarded reaction, whereas ion increased rate; these two observations agree results previous investigators.
