摘要: Pyrolants are an important class of energetic materials having wide range military and civilian applicationsdue to their high energy content solid fused residues,. Pyrolant incendiaries can be either fuel rich or provide a surplus oxidizer facilitate combustion target substrate. The requirements characteristics incendiary pyrolant have not been clearly identified. However, the heat reaction, thermal kinetic data, macroscopic parameters basic for formulations these compounds. In this work, new kind multicomponent Al/MnO2/PTFE is introduced as charge. reaction (activation energy, frequency factor, critical temperature, self-accelerating decomposition temperature) pyrolants were studied by differential scanning calorimetry analysis. addition, behaviors (flame speed ignition delay time) investigated using open burn experimental setup. Results reveal that with only 30% nano-Al content, mixtures showed reduced temperatures produced unique behavior attributed different chemical mechanism than observed micron-Al particles.
