Microfiltration membrane processes: A review of research trends over the past decade

摘要: Abstract Since its inception in the 19th century, microfiltration (MF) has evolved as a membrane-based separation technology for treating various effluents and wastewaters. This review aims to familiarize readers with general specific research trends on topics MF. The level of interest been measured by number publications that area each year. An increasing trend was observed from since 2009 2018 MF major topic. During past decade, articles have spanned about 150 different journals, Journal Membrane Science, Desalination Separation Purification Technology being ones. Major include membrane fabrication modification, waste water treatment fouling studies, while significant increase seen methods application food sector. modeling still remains topic which needs further output, experienced decline over years. Several potential areas are also identified this will help future researchers materialize their efforts into right direction.
