摘要: Abstract Two new Schiff base complexes, [Ni 2 (HL) (μ 1,3 -N 3 )]ClO 4 ·H O ( 1 ) and [Co(L)(N )] where L = 2,2′-{(methylimino)bis[propane-3,1-diylnitrilomethylylidene]}diphenolate ion, have been synthesized by the reaction of equimolar amounts nickel(II) or cobalt(II) perchlorate with pentadentate ligand (H L) in presence azide ion. The complexes characterized microanalytical, spectroscopic, single crystal X-ray diffraction other physicochemical studies. Structural studies reveal that is an end-to-end azido-bridged binuclear complex which each adopts irregular octahedral geometry. In contrast, a mononuclear cobalt(III) containing ion one its apical positions. Low temperature magnetic measurements on indicate noticeable intradimer ferromagnetic interactions.
