摘要: Chicken egg shell membrane, a naturally abundant protein was used to synthesize gold (Au), silver (Ag) and their bimetallic (AuAg) alloy nanoclusters at room temperature without the use of any reducing agent or catalyst. The as-formed clusters were highly fluorescent exhibited intense blue emission around 435 ± 5 440 nm, respectively. This is first report confirming formation exhibiting nanosecond lifetimes by biomembrane-induced reduction process. We have also explored capability these metal cluster immobilized inexpensive ESMs in removing organic dyes from water. results confirmed that it strong adsorption dye molecules presence particles has helped convert ESM into an effective platform for water purification. process dual advantages utilizing inexpensive, eco-friendly food waste (egg membrane) situ nanoparticles utilization same as removal anionic An Au-immobilized showed better efficiency than those Ag-ESM AuAg-ESM membranes.
