摘要: Abstract In this paper, AM60 magnesium die cast components are studied to understand material property variation, fracture behaviour and finite element simulation. The IP beam is selected for characterization study. It shown that maximum plastic strain of the component varies from 3% 11% while standard sample has 6% elongation. laws with failure criterion in Radioss Crash definitions their mathematical forms calculation. Specimens tested simulated under different loading conditions including coupon tension, wider specimen tension dome forming test. found obtained tensile test cannot be used predict failures tests. simulation underestimates strains overestimates capacity specimens. requires a modification on input obtain good correlation...
