Usefulness of narrow pedicled intercostal cutaneous perforator flap for coverage of the burned hand

摘要: Abstract A narrow pedicled intercostal cutaneous perforator (np-ICP) flap is used for reconstruction of hand scar contractures after burns. This designed with a pedicle which includes some perforators 4–7th spaces, and wide distal area lies over the costal cage upper abdomen. Additionally thinned until only subdermal vascular network preserved in most area. It seems that this more useful, not functionally but also aesthetically, than conventional methods. report describes technique concept, demonstration clinical examples.
