摘要: Compilation of bottom-hole temperature (BHT) data (3,466 readings) and their correction along the 680-km profile from Rocky Mountain Foothills to western edge Canadian Shield has allowed detailed analysis 2D distribution, calculation thermal gradient, estimate heat flow. Temperature are available typically only a section depth interval making contouring field difficult. Surface values were used in calculations gradient. The quality BHT deteriorates towards shallow part basin where larger errors heat-flow estimates calculated. Estimated flow increases southwest northeast. Anomalously high between 300 km – 500 questionable.
