摘要: Abstract Ethanol is now one of the most widely used transport bio-fuels and production ethanol from rice straw (RS) an effective RS utilization way. This work investigated a novel two-step pretreatment process with goal decreasing cost through complete its components. In process, was first treated dilute sulfuric acid to remove hemicellulose recover xylose hydrolyzate as feedstock for xylitol production, then residue standard sulfomethylation reagent lignin containing lignosulfonate cement water reducer. Among tested conditions, best treatment (AT) conditions were 100 °C, 1.0 wt% acid, 10% (w/v) 2 h, recycled 5 times. After AT, recovered 83.2% yield. The (ST) 160 °C, 15% RS, 5 h using reagent. ST, 5.0% directly Under above 94% 92% in origin removed, but cellulose had almost no loss. simultaneous saccharification fermentation (100 g L − 1 ) 72 h, concentration yield reached 40.6 g L 86.4% respectively. It suggests efficient method production. can be example bio-refinery bio-fuel
