On the miniaturised sacrificial protection achieved by surface precipitation in aluminium alloys

摘要: Abstract Metal rich primers comprising of zinc (Zn) or magnesium (Mg) particles are applied onto certain aluminium (Al) alloys to sacrificially protect the alloys. An alternative method Al is induce formation a homogeneous distribution anodic surface precipitates upon them. In this contribution, precipitation exploited impart sacrificial corrosion protection Metallurgical thermal treatments were performed form (MgZn2, Al2MgCu and Mg2Si) on two commercial alloys: AA7050 AA6061. Corrosion tests demonstrate that these miniature formed can cathodic protection.
