Turbulence Statistics and Scalar Transport in Highly-Sheared Premixed Flames

摘要: This paper describes recent progress in the analysis of nature turbulent premixed flames stabilised behind an axisymmetric baffle which are fundamental interest development new and cleaner combustion systems. The work includes use laser-based diagnostics for velocity temperature measurements, extended to turbulence statistics, including energy spectrum typical length scales a reacting shear layer. results provided experimental evidence extension flamelet regime beyond Klimov--Williams criterion. Arguments based on shape weighted-joint-probability distributions axial fluctuations show that counter-gradient heat flux is associated with preferential deceleration products relation cold reactants.
