摘要: The Dutch government wants to expand Mainport Rotterdam, one of the largest ports in world, by land reclamation North Sea. This may affect theWadden Sea, a unique wetlands area protected European Bird and Habitat Directives. To assess impact port extension on Wadden an Appropriate Assessment procedure was carried out. We investigated how stakeholders’ perceptions were dealt with knowledge used this decision-making process. Our findings form argument for practitioners marine coastal management choose process-oriented approach deal complex issues.
