摘要: Abstract This paper seeks to establish a natural approach towards understanding housing by suggesting the existence of primal hierarchy functions based upon an analysis nesting behaviour in hominid apes (gorillas, chimpanzees, bonobos and orang‐utans). A review international research on satisfaction data from American Housing Survey confirm modern relevance this perceived quality both homeowners tenants. The proposed provides simple, compelling eminently cross‐cultural perspective for policy analysis. Adding viewpoint traditional approaches may generate useful alternatives novel insights.
