摘要: Abstract Philanthus gibbosus is a solitary, ground-nesting wasp in which several individuals have been observed to occupy single burrow. Evidence presented indicates that emerging males and females often the parental nest for days, sometimes life. The females, however, soon disperse found new nests, although one may continue expand nest. It appears larger female maintains possession of nest, interactions not observed. On rare occasions two provision brief period. P. represent unique stage presociality temporary communal nesting occurs at certain phases cycle.
