摘要: Addition of a small dose (2%) H[sub 2] to the aerosol gas flow enhanced analyte signals by factor 2-3, which compensated for loss signal that accompanied earlier efforts at cryogenic desolvation with inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS). Vanadium, nickel, and arsenic microgram per liter levels in urine, river, seawater reference materials were determined. The polyatomic ions ClO[sup +], CaO[sup ArCl[sup normally cause severe overlap interferences these elements, attenuated manageable desolvation. samples simply diluted 1% HNO[sub so chloride could be removed as HCl. analytical results obtained standard agreed closely certified or recommended values. detection limit ranges (3[sigma]) 10-1000 ng L[sup [minus]1] V, 0.03-20 [mu]g Ni, 4-7000 As original samples. introduced injection minimize clogging sampling orifice. 29 refs., 2 figs., 5 tabs.
