Dimensional ridge alterations following socket preservation using a nanocrystalline hydroxyapatite paste: a histomorphometrical study in dogs.

摘要: The aim of the study was to evaluate histological response and dimensional ridge alterations following application a nanocrystalline hydroxyapatite paste (NHA) into fresh extraction sockets in dogs. Immediately vertical tooth separation extraction, NHA inserted socket second molar lower jaws 10 Untreated sites on opposite side served as controls. Wounds were closed using resorbable sutures after flap elevation. After three six months, 5 animals killed.
