Towards Minkowski vacua in type II string compactifications

摘要: We study the vacuum structure of compactifications type II string theories on orientifolds with SU(3) × structure. argue that generalised geometry enables us to treat these non-geometric using a supergravity analysis in way very similar geometric compactifications. find supersymmetric Minkowski vacua all moduli stabilised at weak coupling and tadpole conditions satisfied. Generically value fields is parametrically controlled can be taken arbitrarily large values.
