摘要: A light source for generating many precisely spaced wavelength channels, based on the periodic modulation of light. CW is periodically amplitude modulated and then coupled to a non-linear fiber where it undergoes additional by process self-phase or other effects. In general embodiment multi-wavelength (MWS), an optical modulator driven electromagnetic signal imposes from single longitudinal mode laser. The medium with intensity dependent refractive index generates higher order spectral sidebands and/or frequency spacing between components equal repetition rate modulation. shape spectrum (i.e. relative amplitudes components) can be modified adjustments to: waveform; power waveform when medium; characteristics such as index, length dispersion.
