摘要: A high voltage electrical winding for shell form transformers is disclosed that reduces eddy current and circulating losses within the winding. The fabricated from an elongated conductor bundle spirally wound into a plurality of turns. formed multiplicity enamel coated strands arranged in side by relation. Each has rectangular cross section with thickness less than approximately 40 mils between contacting surfaces. strand's sectional height preferably 120 mils. are mounted such their respective contact surfaces abut. wrapped adhesive tape to give some structural support provide insulation also very good mechanical strength impulse distribution.
