摘要: Centrality of emotion for the stories told by humans is underpinned numerous studies in literature and psychology. The research automatic storytelling has recently turned towards emotional storytelling, which characters' emotions play an important role plot development. However, these mainly use to generate propositional statements form "A feels affection B" or confronts B". At same time, behavior does not boil down such descriptions, as display complex highly variable patterns communicating their emotions, both verbally non-verbally. In this paper, we analyze how are expressed non-verbally a corpus fan fiction short stories. Our analysis shows that written convey character along various non-verbal channels. We find some channels, facial expressions voice characteristics characters, more strongly associated with joy, while gestures body postures likely occur trust. Based on our analysis, argue systems should take variability into account when generating descriptions emotions.
