摘要: This article describes the development and psychometric evaluation of Stephenson Multigroup Acculturation Scale (SMAS). Three studies were conducted to describe its refinement, examine properties with 436 participants from 5 ethnic groups, robustness factor structure a new sample. Exploratory analyses generated 2-factor solution: society immersion dominant immersion. Item refinement resulted in 32-item version SMAS. Findings indicated robust across groups. Confirmatory analysis that model provided close approximation observed data. Studies high reliability validity indexes. support role acculturation as mediator between group affiliation standardized assessment results.
