摘要: Abstract A method is described for separating purine bases and nucleosides from cyclic 3′,5′-nucleotides on aluminum oxide columns. Purine were found to pass through columns equilibrated with ammonium acetate buffer at pH 4.0 while the nucleotides retarded enough permit separation. Optimal conditions factors affecting separation are described. The was shown be applicable in isotopic assay of 3′,5′-nucleotide phosphodiesterase activity over a broad range substrate concentrations. advantages this its possible use simultaneous cyclase-phosphodiesterase
