摘要: This study compares the behavior of students and non-students in a number classic experimental games. We find that are more likely to behave as homo-economicus agents than games involving other-regarding preferences (Dictator Game, Trust Game Public Good Game). These differences persist even when controlling for demographics, cognitive ability risk preferences. In do not engage (Beauty-contest Second-price Auction) there is limited evidence behaviour between subject pools. none five significant comprehension non-students. Within analyses indicate highly consistent their while non-student subjects inconsistent across Our findings suggest experiments using will provide lower bound estimate other-regardedness general population exaggerating stability
