摘要: The impact of scientific articles is proportional to the citations they have received. In this study, most cited works (“citation classics”) related Tourette syndrome (TS) were identified as with more than 100 according Web Science. We retrieved 89 highly articles, which published in 26 journals: 54 clinical studies, 27 laboratory 7 reviews, and 1 classification article. Clinical studies consisted phenomenologic evaluations TS comorbid behavioral problems (n = 22) on pharmacotherapy 16) genetics 13), whereas covered basic genetics, cellular molecular biology 11), neurobiology (neuroimaging, neuropathology, neurophysiology) 16). majority (58%) citation classics after 1990, when (especially neuroimaging, immunologic, genetic studies) became widely cited.
