摘要: Various aspects of warm rings in the Gulf Mexico were derived from satellite infrared data and Ship-of-Opportunity data. After separate Loop Current, they move into western Mexico. It was shown 12 years (1973 through 1984) that there are three characteristic paths movements rings: a northern path, mid-Gulf path takes southern extremities all eventually lead ring to region northwestern portion (the area defined by 25°N 28°N 93°W 96°W). As eastern Gulf, speed observed oscillate. The oscillation is over range 1 8 km per day, on average, period varies 40 100 days. average 5 day. separates surface decreases about 55 percent its initial size approximately 150 days 31 300
