摘要: This paper analyses the new Research Centre designed for University of Camerino and entirely financed by national Civil Protection Department (DPC), following seismic events in Central Italy 2016. The building has been to guarantee speed execution as well a high level safety, especially regarding actions. structural solution was create an isolated system with steel braced super-structure pinned joints r.c. sub-structures able adapt complex morphology area. As described first part paper, design choices have made achieve resilience robustness, i.e. limit damage non-structural components equipment under moderate actions avoid disproportionate consequences event extreme actions, larger than ones. In second specific risk carried out evaluate real performance increasing intensity levels, reference both serviceability ultimate conditions. To this purpose site-specific hazard study conducted, then nonlinear were performed using hazard-consistent set records return periods ranging from TR=60 years TR=10000 years. main demand parameters isolation recorded capacity values corresponding different conditions defined. results obtained terms curves show that performances rustiness are very high, confirming efficacy strategies adopted design.
