摘要: Country olive forests are one of the major contributors with economic aspects. Spain is leading country in world which produced around 45% oil compared to total production world. The value 2.4 million hectares land dedicated cultivation country, made it a huge producer Olive crop widely spread over large extensive areas; manual counting trees humanly infeasible. To address this problem, we propose an automatic scheme for detection and enumeration trees. proposed technique comprises multi-step image processing techniques applied single band imagery. red once extracted from color spectrum acquired images, then sharpened edges detected. closed formed by tree boundaries transformed into white blobs using morphological reconstruction. Resulting circular filtered out based on their shape size. Blobs geometry in-range radius considered as trees, mapped existing ground information. Results have been generated diverse images capturing truth information estimation error 1.27%.
