摘要: A method has been developed to transform plasmid deoxyribonucleic acid into protoplasts of the insect pathogen Bacillus thuringiensis. Protoplasts were formed by treatment cells with lysozyme. The efficiency formation was affected strain, media, and cell density. Deoxyribonucleic uptake induced polyethylene glycol. from Staphylococcus aureus pC194 used for transformation. Although this could not be isolated as a stable extrachromosomal element, its chloramphenicol resistance transferred recipient protoplasts. This confirmed assay enzyme acetyltransferase, which confers chloramphenicol. suggested that acts an insertion element in B. Images
