摘要: Abstract Soils contaminated with heavy metals also contain a number of organic ligands, particularly in the rhizosphere and thus, fraction bioavailable soils likely exists complexed form. The presence soluble, metal-complexing ligands can influence fate transport as well mineralisation compounds. Oxalate citrate Cd, Cu, Mg, Pb Zn were used model metal–organic complexes possibly occurring metal soils. Soil respiration was to determine biodegradation these compounds clay alkaline soil kept under different management regimes. Overall, results indicated that generally more degradable than oxalate–metal complexes. For each acid, biodegradability varied for metals, following ranking order: Mg>Zn>Cu≅Pb>Cd. Addition Cd decreased respiration. These indicate formation between low molecular weight might affect functionality, especially soils, determined by
