摘要: Abstract The relative amounts of rhodopsin and porphyropsin (visual pigment composition) in rainbow trout are known to be affected by light temperature. By transferring fish new photic thermal environments sampling at intervals, the dynamics changing visual composition were studied. Within 30–50 days acclimation, compositions different groups subjected same treatment converged stabilized. Groups held under ten temperature regimes for 60 then analysed proportions. These “steady-state compositions” reflect accurately effects on trout.
