摘要: Abstract CD1b is an antigen-presenting molecule that mediates recognition of bacterial lipid and glycolipid antigens by specific T cells. We demonstrate the nine–amino acid cytoplasmic tail contains all signals required for its normal endosomal targeting, single tyrosine a critical component targeting motif. Mutant forms lacking motif are expressed at high levels on cell surface but unable to efficiently present acquired either exogenously or from live intracellular organisms. These results define functional role in physiologic setting importance delivery this appropriate compartments.
