摘要: Chemokines are cytokines that program directed migration of leukocyte subsets (Loetscher et al. 2000). These small proteins (~8–14 kDa) form the largest family secreted intercellular messengers, having over 43 members recognized at this time. The is characterized by presence four positionally conserved cysteine residues and subdivided into branches based on relationship two amino-proximal cysteines: C-C, C-X-C, C-X3-C, C. Cellular signals for chemokines transduced G-protein coupled receptor (GPCR) also cosegregate along these subdivisions (Murphy It now in addition to promoting inflammation through recruitment subsets, play a central role directing development tissues outside hemato-lymphoid system.
