摘要: The Emilia Romagna slope of the Northern Apennines is strewnwith over 32,000 landslides, 5,000 which are larger than 1 million cubic metres. They representthe remains geomorphic agents that shaped during Holocene. Dating themby means radiocarbon methods adds a contribution to knowledge about last periodof geological geomorphological history Apennines. can also be used examinethe influence Quaternary climatic changes on instability slopes and, for practicalor planning functions, assess periodicity activity phases landslides. Thedating has been carried out wood remnants buried under landslide bodies. In some cases theentire tree trunk was found.
