摘要: Summary Corallochytrium limacisporum is an unusual non-flagellate, saprotrophic marine protist of no known affinities. Though originally described as a thraustochytrid, it has morphological characters that specifically link to thraustochytrids, or fungi, any well-established group. We have cloned and sequenced its 18s rRNA gene, carried out phylogenetic analysis by four different methods. These unequivocally show not but instead related choanoflagellate protozoa the enigmatic rosette agent salmon. A new family, Corallochytriidae, established accommodate it. Corallochytrids clearly belong within protozoan phylum Choanozoa in distinct order, Corallochytrida Cavalier-Smith 1995, class, Corallochytrea 1995.
