摘要: Due to the construction and operation of Manwan Dam on Lancang River, sediments were likely deposit in impoundment. In this research, sediment samples collected from 17 sites whole reservoir 2011 investigate distribution sources heavy metals (Al, As, Cu, Fe, Cd, Cr, Mn, Pb Zn), as well assess metal contamination status. The results obtained using Principal Component Analysis (PCA) showed that mainly divided into two groups, natural factors anthropogenic input. inputs came industrial activities tributary rivers such mining smelting, agricultural practices fertilising pesticide consumption. quality was assessed according guidelines enrichment factor (EF). Concentrations Zn at some exceeded either Threshold Effects Level (TEL) US National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) or Range-Low (ERL) Canadian Sediment Quality guidelines. high levels these could cause adverse effects. One-way analysis variance for spatial revealed no significant differences found most tail, centre head except Cr (P<0.01) head. Significant variations observed tributaries mainstream. comparative EF indices suggested Pb, Mn slightly enriched Fe Cu not but had different "high-low" orders reservoir.
