Body Representations of Internal Pollution: The Risk Perception of the Circulation of Environmental Contaminants in Pregnant and Breastfeeding Women in Spain.

摘要: In this article, we analyze how pregnant and breastfeeding women perceive the inside of their bodies as well thoughts regarding accumulation elimination chemical compounds present in food, these are then transmitted to fetus. We explore different social perceptions risk circulation body using qualitative research based on technique mapping, comprised women’s figures combination with comments figures, food diaries narratives from in-depth interviews. examine 41 (21 20 breastfeeding) body’s internal mechanisms during stages pregnancy breastfeeding, contaminants within it. The mapping allowed us participants’ knowledge pollution, a little-understood process society. Thanks women, who made an effort represent reflect new risks, study shows that scientists obstetricians need collaborate order better understand publicize risks pollution.
