摘要: The principles and procedures of active specific immunotherapy developed from studies with the inbred guinea pig hepatocarcinoma model were used as basis a randomized, controlled prospective trial colorectal cancer patients. goal was to determine whether patients treated vaccines made autologous tumor cells plus Bacillus Calmette-Guerin adjuvant would have an increased reaction their measured by delayed-type cutaneous hypersensitivity (DCH) responses. Our results demonstrate that significantly DCH responses in 16 24 (67%). response immunized normal mucosa, tissue control, did not increase significantly. Furthermore, no significant against or mucosa detected group nonimmunized control induced correlated other factors, such presence bacteria cell preparation protein concentration preparations. qualitative quantitative differences suggest immunizations are targeted mainly tumor-associated antigens tissue-associated playing secondary role.
