Galvani potential at liquid–liquid interfaces for dissolving AgBr + LiCl and AgI + LiCl melts

摘要: An electrochemical method was used to study the Galvani potential between two coexisting equilibrium phases of molten AgI + LiCl and AgBr + LiCl systems. The measures electromotive force (emf) a cell with silver electrodes: Ag | x ′ AgI (or AgBr) + (1 − x ) LiCl ″ Ag. measurement performed beginning melting point mixtures until reaching temperature full mixing, T c , establish magnitude its dependence near critical mixing. It is shown that in range 200 K below mixing point, for both systems described by universal equation, ∆E ≈ τ n where τ = (T  − T)/T exponent n = 1.228.
