摘要: As a companion to humans, the domestic dog is naturally interpreted from human-centered (anthropocentric) perspective. Indeed, behavior and actions are often explained by using anthropomorphisms: attributions that would hold if actor were human. While sometimes useful, anthropomorphisms also have potential be misleading or incorrect. In this chapter we describe work replace an anthropocentric perspective with more dog-centered research program. First detail systematically testing of emotional complexity—the appearance guilt jealousy—that made dogs, context “guilty look” advantageous disadvantageous inequity aversion. Relatedly, looking at contribution specific physical attributes human preference anthropomorphizing. Finally, identify canid-centric elements our own others’ research, suggest ways can sensitive dog’s umwelt.
