摘要: For many years now, scientific and technological research has witnessed a dramatic increase of interest in studies single molecules. A large number ongoing projects are dealing with examinations individual particles, them have been funded by the Volkswagen Stiftung. Over years, results outlooks these presented at biannual symposia. This year’s meeting took place from February 22–25 Staffelstein, Germany was organized Stefan Hell, Christian Eggeling, Ines Lein Max-PlanckInstitute for Biophysical Chemistry, G3ttingen. The new insights plans future developments single-molecule (SM) all areas biology, physics, chemistry. These pushed progress experimental techniques such as scanning tunnelling microscopy (STM), atomic force (AFM), or optical microscopy.
