摘要: Abstract A series of 1:50 model tests are conducted to study the motion responses and energy harvesting performance a novel dual chamber floating oscillating water column device moored by three flexible mooring systems in regular irregular waves. This conversion consists one traditional Backward Bend Duct Buoy chamber. The systems, include modified Catenary Anchor Leg Mooring concept two compact designed for station keeping this specific device. Strong nonlinearities tension found, especially low wave period sea conditions. It is also found that surge yaw has significant differences when different systems. pitch heave natural periods derived from their Responses Amplitude Operator curves. spectral methods fatigue damage estimation depends on configuration material. seen attached clump weights affect rope. been shows good within broad range periods, influence height.
