摘要: Previous observations demonstrated that steroid hormones associate with plasma lipoproteins. The objective of this study was to estimate the relative importance lipoproteins as hormone binding agents in comparison sex globulin, corticosteroid and albumin both normal hyperlipidemic human plasma. 16 related metabolites included were: androstanediol, androstenediol, androstenedione, androsterone, corticosterone, cortisol, dehydroepiandrosterone, deoxycorticosterone, dihydrotestosterone, estradiol, estriol, estrone, 17α-hydroxyprogesterone, pregnenolone, progesterone, testosterone. activity these purified high density lipoprotein (HDL), low very were separately evaluated by equilibrium dialysis incubations yield 48 hormone-lipoprotein combinations for further study. In HDL, six (androstenediol, progesterone) identified non-equilibrium, apparently due metabolic conversion hormones. three Δ5-3β hydroxy steroids estradiol appears be fatty acid esterification lecithin:cholesterol acyltransferase. computer program TRANSPORT, which used evaluate only nonspecific association levels a 16×6 matrix at simultaneous equilibrium, indicated lipoprotein-bound ranged from 1% cortisol 56% pregnenolone blood. Simulated projections increase during hyperlipidemia are also presented. These results demonstrate how likely important transport metabolism
