摘要: Both high- and low-osmolality contrast media are available for most radiographic procedures requiring iodinated material. Newer cost much more than conventional high-osmolality formulations but cause fewer adverse reactions. However, of these reactions mild easily treated, do not affect the outcome procedure. Whether additional clinical benefits justify added is a crucial question which has been answered. This review introduces some economic issues on choice should be based, Low-osmality agents effective considering current pricing strategies inability to select patients at increased risk an event. Therefore, better understanding events their mechanism takes importance.
