Adaptive Metrics for Content Based Image Retrieval in Dermatology

摘要: We apply distance based classifiers in the context of a content image retrieval task dermatology. In present project, only RGB color information is used. employ two different methods order to obtain discriminative measure for classification and retrieval: Generalized Matrix LVQ Large Margin Nearest Neighbor approach. Both provide linear transformation original features lower dimensions. demonstrate that both lead very similar transformations improve performances significantly.
