摘要: Abstract Electromagnetic waves originating on Earth and recorded in space allow retrieval of ionospheric parameters. Using the Fast Onboard Recording Transient Events satellite (FORTE), it has been shown that trans-ionospheric pulsed radio-frequency (RF) signals carry sufficient information to infer peak electron density ionosphere, addition total content along a ray path between source receiver. In this paper detailed refractive properties ionosphere birefringent splitting RF Earth’s magnetic field are modeled using Appleton–Hartree equation an profile based International Reference Ionosphere (IRI). Applications model FORTE data provide additional vertical plasma at time place measurement. Results observations compared with IRI.
