摘要: We present a retrospective analysis of 30 years breeding records from colony pigtailed macaques at the University Washington’s Regional Primate Research Center, specifically examining effects on pregnancy outcome sire presence, presence other pregnant females, group stability, overall size, and dam age parity. Data 2,040 pregnancies (1,890 live births) socially housed (Macaca nemestrina) were obtained Washington Center’s animal 1967 to 1996. Our results suggest that fewer moves, lower parity increases probability viable birth. In nonviable births, gestation length was positively related contact with number age. Once effect gestational taken into account, birthweight increased increasing decreased Clinical treatment as size moves decreased. The dependent experienced by dam, more associated longer treatments. Sire single most important factor in nearly all measures reproductive outcome. Am. J. Primatol. 47:153‐163, 1999. © 1999 Wiley-Liss, Inc.
