摘要: ABSTRACT The incidence of enteroviruses in 48 bathing waters around the Welsh coast was assessed during period 1986–1988 as part routine compliance monitoring programme for EC waters. Out a total 623 samples taken, 168(27%) were positive and number virus particles ranged from 1–23 pfu/10 litres water. Generally, viruses adjacent to areas high population density higher than that far removed these areas. However, also isolated with no significant sewage input where contamination by material estimated E. coli /total coliform count minimal. There correlation between presence organisms 46% which complied mandatory /coliform standards did not comply enterovirus standard.
