摘要: Weight gain is a common side effect associated with antidepressant, anxiolytic, and antipsychotic drug use. Obesity risk factor for several other disorders, including hypertension, diabetes, coronary artery disease. To date, there have been few safe, well-tolerated, effective pharmacological agents available to alleviate weight in general, virtually no studies specific psychiatric drug-induced gain. This case series looks at the use of orlistat, reversible inhibitor lipases approved by US Food Drug Administration obesity management, naturalistically 13 patients secondary psychotropic The results showed that administered 3 daily doses meals, was effective, resulting an average loss 35% during acute treatment period about months.
